Fishing lights

Has anybody had any experience with the new LED blacklights, messed up four this past weekend. They were on the same set up as my flourescent Stan Slones, off my trolling battery, just 12volt, not 12/24. 47 lbs on the trolling motor would pull them down and eventually throughout the night they were all shot??? Any thoughts, Thanks. KEG

From what I got out of it is he has hooked up led lights to a balast for flouresant????????

I think that's a flourescent type of bulb that has LED's in the bulb. So it is actually not flourescsent any more . It just replaces the bulb in the light fixture.

Check all the specs for the LEDs, and the fixtures. What may have operated okay with fluorescent may burn out LEDs.
