In my facility I have a broken conduit seal which contains a 15kV shielded 3/C cable. Above the broken conduit seal is a NEMA 7 enclosure "pull box". The conduit seal is not poured. Don't ask why a NEMA 7 enclosure was used as a pull box along with an un-poured conduit seal. This is for another story. I'm highly confident that the cable is not spliced inside the NEMA 7 enclosure as the size of the enclosure could likely not contain the splices. It is not practical to determinate the 15kV connection at the source and pull back the wire to fix the conduit seal due to the age of the wire. Would it be practical to very carefully know out the conduit seal and replace with a EYSR retrofit seal fitting?
