Do all parts of a fixture need to be connected to the egc? Architech has proposed using a fixture from B-K Lighting called Core Drill Versa Star a 120v fixture utilizing a GU10 lamp. The spec sheet list that the fixture comes with a 5' low voltage cable, and no box is required, this would leave the fixture and lense ungrounded. The lense looks like it attaches directly to the concrete, so would it need to be attached to the egc. I also don't see how I can make these fixtures work on a outdoor stairway where some of the core drilled holes are 8-10' feet under ground.
