can anyone direct me to any discussion, for a lack of a better word,daisy chaining fixtures together is allowed or not.6' rule does not apply to this unless,that is answer. THANKS GEO

Yes you can wire end to end but the two code references I cited have a limit on the length depending on the fixture wire. The OP did not state what the size of the fixture wire was. If its 12 or 14 AWG then its a branch circuit not a fixture tap. The definition determines the rule.

thanks for the reply. sorry for the lack of info
these are 2x4 recessed.the specs limit tails to 6',which would limit this type of installation sometime.i was concern with the support of the tails and it looks like crap. THANKS AGAIN GEO
