You forced me in all of my illness this weekend to search for 2-pole comination type AFCI breakers.
I checked SQD, CH, and GE - they do not make the 2-pole type combination yet, or at least do not have any info on their sites. It looks like 14-2/2 or 12-2/2 for multiple circuits or a lot of -2 wire

Ohio's on the '08 which means that shared neutral homeruns in dwellings can't be used [except kitchen, bath, laundry, unf basement, garage, + outside] until somebody starts making multipole combo AFCIs. . The flat stuff makes it harder to check HRs during roughs.

Can I get a round of boo hoos for us poor inspectors that would rather see the round HRs ?

There's no panels up on the rough [if they go the standard basement main route]. . Alot of times there isn't even any basement stairs.

i've been using it for at least 8/mo or longer now. i really like it. in my experience, the simpull flat 14/3 pulls easier than the round stuff. and its easier to strip w/ the knife.

I talked to the sqaure D rep on CMP 10 and he told me that they have no intention of making a 2-pole version.

I wonder why the change? The round stuff pulls nicer, I think. Harder to kink and twist.

I always preferred running the round 3wire and gave the flat 2wire runs to others for that very reason. . It would be nicer to have everything round instead of the other way around.
