Hi,

I have an application in classified locations both C1D1 and C1D2 where I need to feed a motor. My question is can I use any flexible conduit to feed the motor or does it have to be only liquid tight flexible conduit?

CID2: 501.10(B)(2)

In CID1, if you want to pull single conductors directly to motor termination compartment, use a flexible coupling listed for location. It resembles a hydraulic hose with a wire-braid jacket. Otherwise you are limited to cord or TC-ER, with fittings listed for location.

You have several, less restrictive options for CID2...
