I have a project which wil require a very flexible conductor (type "G") because it is being routed in a flexible Cat-trac to a machine which moves. The cable will also run about 20 feet in an embedded conduit in a floor slab. I don't find any information in NEC article 400 that discusses derating this type cable for embedded conduit, in fact I'm not sure this is an acceptable application. This is a 480 volt, 3 phase, 200 amp circuit. I am assuming 75 degree C cable ampacity because of the UL rating for the terminations on each end. Any thoughts?
