The reality was when I tore into it, found a serious heater, and found said heater in the books that clearly stated the function.

Toner fusion heater? Yeah, they all have that but why is it on all the time? Is the printing load so high, or somebody hits print and wants it done by the time they walk over to the machine? Could it be that there is a setting for energy saving mode?
