How do you lay out floor boxes in concrete when no walls are up yet ? This will a 60 x 150 structure , 70 feet will be storage . it will have small office. It will be use for repair work on trucks and other equipment use in commercial grounds keeping. I plan on surface mounting everything, after walls are up and insulated, metal surface. My question has to do with the lay out of the floor boxes in the concrete. These will be the office . How do I stub up in the exterior walls so I'm not in the way of the future frame of the building ? I would like to be close to future a stud to mount my box. Hope this isn't to confusing, really never did this before.

Use the center of columns to layout floor boxes. Furthermore I would run the conduits to the nearest column in the small office and stub then above the drop ceiling. When coming up a column you shouldn't hit any studs but if you were to come up anywhere else they just have to frame around you. You were there first.

They type of construction plays a big role in this, wood framing, cmu walls, etc. Do you have more detailed information?
