Floor Rec.

Can you install a floor rec. facing upward in a cellular floor raceway if that is what the equipment was designed to do? Note the existing raceway is very old and the rec were installed years ago.I just want to add additional rec's.

As long as it can be made watertight for floor cleaning, etc. That's why you usually see brass plates with threaded covers that screw in and out of the plate.
