I've been looking on the web to see if Florida, in general Escambia and Santa Rosa Co. have a grandfathered clause for the journeyman license ?

You have to look at the individual counties for journeyman licenses because the State of Florida does not license journeyman. Journeyman are licensed by county. The state only licenses electrical contractors.
I've never heard of any FL counties grandfathering, but more and more are having reciprocity with some other counties.

See chapter 489 F.S. and call DBPR or CILB in Tallahassee if you have any questions.

I believe the days of ER (vs. EC) are long over.

I've never heard of journeyman licensing in Florida and I know it upsets EC's & inspectors but it is what it is.

I don't know if it still stands but in the early 80's Pinellas County did. If I remember right it was a 1 to 6 ratio
