had to schedule a saturday shutdown 110.00 per man per hour 4 hour min 2 man truck 189.00 show up fee 2 show up required so you would think since customer is gonna have to pay, Fpl will be on site till we r done so we can get quick reconnect... oh no they say if a trouble call comes in crew will have to respond, we r paying to have this crew there for us on sat, how do other areas poco handle special shutdowns? sorry forgot to say this is a shutdown to install emergency generator for a bank. thanks for the replies
 
Dealing with the majority of POCO's I've dealt with, they're all frustrating, but trust me, the bank can afford it. :cool:

Ahh...I know you feel. I spent much of my career in FPL territory. I could share some real stories about "work with" with FPL over the years. On the other hand, I also spent a number of years in a CO OP area that adjoined FPL territory and they teated us like family. It's getting very difficult work with investor owned utilities.
