I have a similar situation with Fluke. I am looking for a meter that displays the measured AC & DC simultaneously & has zero centered bar graph on the DC volt & ampere setting.
I looked at the Fluke information on the web & find a meter or two that will measure AC & DC at the same time. The other requirement is not shown in the matrix. I call Fluke. The representative denies the existence of such a meter. I have an older Fluke that has the zero in the center of the bar graph for DC.
When I tell them the model number they change their mind. I cannot believe what they say at this point.
I then try calling the vendor we use to purchase our meters. After a short conversation they give me their Fluke number. I have the same conversation again.
Fluke was bought by a company called Danaher a few years back.
The problem with their phone tech is the people you talk to do not use the products.
