Isn't that a die-cast squeeze connector? That's what I pictured when I answered.The first type are primarily what we use unless there is another type of connector that is part of the spec. although more expensive the second type would be my preferred connector since they're steel and have a better locking mechanism.

Yes my reference was directly to the two connector photo's in my post. The first type is a cheap die-cast but that is normally what we use. They tend to break if over tightened. The steel ones in the second photo would be a better choice since it's a better connector.Isn't that a die-cast squeeze connector? That's what I pictured when I answered.
Or did you mean the first of your pictures when you said "the first type"?
