Which connector would you say you use most often with FMC? Thanks.

Do you need a separate bushing when using a connector for FMC?

Usually die-cast squeeze for straight and 2-screw for angles.

I always make sure the end with the outside wrap is in the "weaker" connection.

Connectors only need bushings where code requires for wire size.
 
The first type are primarily what we use unless there is another type of connector that is part of the spec. although more expensive the second type would be my preferred connector since they're steel and have a better locking mechanism.

Isn't that a die-cast squeeze connector? That's what I pictured when I answered.

Or did you mean the first of your pictures when you said "the first type"?

Yes my reference was directly to the two connector photo's in my post. The first type is a cheap die-cast but that is normally what we use. They tend to break if over tightened. The steel ones in the second photo would be a better choice since it's a better connector.
