Just like to get some of your interpretations as to the areas of a building you consider back of house and front of house based on your experience. Thanks.

Restaurant, theater? Generally the FOH would be where the public or guests are. The BOH is where the workers are and not accessible to the guests or public.

Well, in the context of the project I'm working on now, FOH (front of house) is anywhere the public has normal access. BOH (back of house) is restricted access for safety and security systems, HVAC, power, etc. We have some BOH areas like electrical rooms that are actually little "islands" in a sea of FOH.
