You could always go the route of having UL do an on-site inspection. Additional costs obviously, but if the customer wants them and is willing to pay, a possible option.

I can't imagine what that would cost. Aren't we talking about a $5000 light? I'd go with the "hide it until you get passed" route.

In any case, it isn't an NEC issue...
