Is anyone else having problems with the search feature? I just did a search for the word receptacle and I got back less than 10 results from the year 2012. Surely the word was used n more than 10 threads.

Yes but how many from Jan, 2012. I only got >10 and certainly there should be more than 10 with receptacle as the keyword,

Vbulletin has never searched well. Heck, UBB didn't either. Use Google advanced search.

How are you entering Jan 2012??? I don't have a "this year" option.

Follow up : Don't use the "Any Date" option. I just did and got pages of results, but with only about 10 since the beginning of 2012. Using "A year Ago", I got 127 hits back to 9/9/11, with approximately 80 from this year. Oh, btw, that is showing results as threads.
