Fourm Changes

You guys having trouble with FF; are you all using it on a Mac? I've been on here pretty steady with FF, and I havn't had a lick of trouble. I'm on another board that runs this exact same rev. of Vb, and has for some time now, and don't have any problems there either.

Windows XP here.

I'm actually surprised that you haven't had any issues with FF...I figured it had something to with post count/pages cached or something like that :-?

I think I found a problem. In 'Manage Attachments' I tried to up load Jpegs of 137, 140 and 140KB and was unsuccessful.

I just made this post on Firefox 3.0.3, using a mac, and if it went through it worked.

Celtic, try turning off the Enhanced Interface and using standard.

I didn't have to to make this post, however.

I am typing this on my laptop which uses IE 6.
On my desktop, which uses IE 5, everytime I click on a thread, it bleeps and a message box appears which says, "This program has performed an illegal function and will be shut down."
This behavior has started about three days ago. I have a hunch that this abberent behavior is related to these "forum changes".
If so, something must be done, even if it means reversing these "improvements" [which don't seem to amount to much anyways].
I did notice that some FireFox users are also affected.
Whomever has contact with Mike, tell him to get out his trusty 2 X 4 and beat some sense into those jack donkeys in the IT room. [Hint: have them read "Web Design for Dummies". Prime tenet: test thoroughly before you energize.]

Kind of harsh words for a forum that is free of charges and advertising.

That said, a nicely worded email to the webmaster would likely solve the problem.

I am normally very mild tempered. Not much sets me off. [Exception: laborer named Steve who didn't have a drill so he helped himself to my drill while I was away at lunch. {Violation of workplace ethics}]
This was nothing compared to what I would have written last night when I looked at the list of all the juicy threads I could have clicked on but at the same time knew that if I did my computer would crash.
First rule: Do No Harm.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I have this image of some brand bew newbie internet tech with high speed connection, fresh out of the box computer with all the trimmings and the most advanced programs [not vista {see "upgrading from vista to XP"}], trying out this "improvement" and, upon finding that it works on his system ASSUMES that it works on everybody's system.
It doesn't.
FAIL!

Anyways, how do I contact the webmaster?

Perhaps you should update your internet explorer.

I hear you and I like that motto as well, I think most of the improvements are behind the scenes, better for the Moderators and administration.

I am sending you a PM.

Time for a revolution I'd say. :D
