FPE Breaker

I've installed a FPE 150amp breaker rated at 40c.The feeder size is 1/0 thhn copper is this to code. Article 310-16 states that 1/0 cu is rated at 150amps using the 75c chart.By this breaker having 40c issuance will it still work. thanks :roll:

sounds like a trick question...where does one find a FPE breaker..
I believe 110-14(c) would prohibit the 1/0.

Sounds fine to me. The 40 degree Celsius rating is for the ambient temperature of the breaker not the conductor temperature.
