What would the impact or change be if one would change the standard USA frequency from 60 hertz to 50 hertz on a Power transformer.
For example the main Generator feeding the step up transformer?

Heat-------possible failure----------bigger problems.

Transformer was designed with impedance calculations based on 60Hz.

Possibly moving into the magnetic saturation region. Higher magnetising currents. Greater losses.

The speed at which flux lines cutting a conductor in transformer is in direct proportion to frequency.
Unlike a motor where the flux in a loop changes as the flux lines "cutting" the loop change because of relative motion, the flux through a loop in a transformer changes as the amplitude of the flux changes (more or fewer flux lines in existence.)
An ideal transformer (with few exceptions) has no moving parts. Not even moving flux lines.
The real transformer will hum at a different frequency though.
