I'm curious to know what type of building had the break glass operator for the shunt trips/undervoltage releases on the exterior of the building? Maybe that's semi-normal in your area?

Marc, If things were "normal" here I wouldn't need you people.

Thats a great question, EM shut downs are speced on all my jobs. Let me look into that.

That picture is funny, normally around here we have to haul the sand in after we dig a trench....
Gentlemen, we stray from the OP. Where did the Friday pic, go? Did we lose intrest or we don't see cool failures anymore?

Didn't plan on putting in a full day today, but I woke up early anyway. I decided to clean my truck. Can you believe all that stuff fit in my truck comfortably?

Yes yes I realize that I'm not working out of a company van or anything, but still...it's pretty impressive in my eyes.

Edit to add: Tom, you recognize that milk crate? The tools inside it are yours.

I'll give you $20 for the box of copper.

Those pictures are too funny. Five years ago, my license still had a DUI on it. I rolled a Ford Explorer. The back of it looked the same. LMAO.

Thank you for the flash back!

I think this is the only thing I had occasion to take a picture of this week. The person called needing a "part for their fusebox" Okay, I arrive and find a burned fuseholder, which is what they were meaning. Seen a million of these. Loose fuse, loose wire, overfusing... this one had them all I guess. Whatever. I told the customer that this part isn't available, and the person insisted that every hardware store sells this part. HA! Anyhow, I snapped a couple pics to add some value to the visit to justify the service call. I think all they're getting from me is an estimate for a service upgrade.
