All the equipment here is new, recently energized service. Notice anything odd?

Serious lack of phase tape.

No lock on the CT cabinet.

What are the OH pipes for?

No grounding to meter.

Al and shovel missing.

Is there a requirement to phase the conductors in a CT cabinet?

No lock on the CT cabinet.
I took it off to open it.

Bingo, POCO couldn't make up their mind, a few dollars worth of materials wasted sticking up through the roof.

No grounding to meter.
Meter base grounded as per POCO.

Al and shovel missing.

Don't tempt me.

Load side EGC?

Conduits on the left come from POCO transformer.

where's waldo's electrode -

where's waldo's electrode -

Where is the funny looking block that is supposed to connect the white wire to the smaller green wire? not to mention the bare wire that goes to the copper stick pounded into the ground???

The whole thing looks odd to me.

Here, the POCO feed would be 4 wire (no egc) and there would be a disconnect there.

So....these feeders loop thru the CT can and they wrap the CT's around them uh? The disconnect is at the panel inside?

Main bonding jumper and GES inside at MDP.

There is 4 wire coming from POCO but customer owned. These are the conduits on the left with no paint. The CT's are solid (300-5). A real wrestling match to pull to POCO transformer then get them through the CT's then pull into MDP. This is 2 sets of 500's. Al has a special shovel he uses to wrestle these conductors.

I don't see any CT's there Bob.

I see, CT's bolt in between the lugs, that sweet.

Looks like the CT cabinet is not grounded to the neutral conductor. And there is no need for the EGC's in with the conductors going to the main disconnect. Once the neutral is bonded to the CT cabinet they will become ea parallel path for the neutral current.

i would use migb's on the top conduits if they're metallic, bond it properly. On a new note, why does the meter enclosure look like Stainless? If required why not the ct cabinet also?
