Does anyknow know what NFPA articles apply to fire supression systems at fuel islands? I am trying to design a system, and the fss manufactures have pretty much left us in the dark. Does a fire supression system need to be tied into the emergency stop control panel? What are the power requirements? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

30A, 70, 17 don't specify what I need to do electrical design for a non-occupied remote fuel station fire supression system...

Yeah! Most codes and standards are not that specific and left open to interpretation, thats why I suggested a talk with AHJ.

Is the fact that the facility is un-occupied and remote throwin you off? I do not know that there would be any different requirements because of this.
