$2K for an E250, Adrian Steel inside & out. Have only put on new tires and regular maintainence. Can't beat it. You just can't see the Ford truck in the garage behind it.

Picked my 2500 up from an HVAC guy going out of business Adrian Steel inside $600.00 I put tires on it changed the oil 6 times. think I got ya beat. And my Buick is in the drive, I prefer to drive a sedan.

Same here. I've always favored "old man" cars. Crown Vic, Town Car, 88, etc. I think I'm going for a Chrysler 300 next.

Sounds more like you're a victim of circumstances rather than actually liking to drive a worn out truck.

Not at all. The truck came from California when I got it 4 years ago and was in mint condition when I got it, and still is. It gets decent mileage for a truck and I can't bear to get rid of it now because it doesn't owe me a dime.

Although I must admit I'm going to be looking for a new pickup pretty soon.

I did that a few years back... traded in my (perfectly good) '92 pickup with 313,000 miles on it for a new one. I'll get trashed for saying so, I'm sure, but they're both Fords.

It's a Chevy the miles don't count. But 150K, hey the air works and she runs like new.

Translation: The tranny's shot. You need to drive it in order to turn the odometer once in a while.

I don't think so I have 212K on it now. not bad for $600 and the tranny is smooth as a new born baby's bottom.

Well, regardless of whether "Full Service" fits the contractor or not, "Full" Service Contractor looks better on a truck than "Half" or "Third" Service Contractor and it's alot better than "No" Service Contractor.

So, rather than hitting the "New Posts" button every so often tonight I think I'm just going to keep hitting refresh on this page and assume that everything will just come up here:grin:

So you like it better than your Ford?

Never owned a ford, had a dodge once, My wife doesn't like my attitude about cars not made by GM, but then I haven't heard her complain about her car being in the shop since it never is. I have a friend who thinks i am too brand loyal, it is only because I have loved every GM car I have owned, they have been good to me so there I am.
