Does that flex connector have an insulator? I don't see one in the inspection window.
Which I never install! Some hot tubs require a full sized egc.

#10 is sufficient!
Perhaps 110.3B. Although in Art 348 it just says trim the ends of the FMC. But the hole in the fitting is to see if the end insulator has been installed.Nope. Code article?
Without know the circuit ampacity no one can say for sure if the EGC in the photo is larger than required or not. A 30 amp receptacle would have a full size EGC even if the ungrounded conductors were #6 AWG.

Anyone do full size EGCs for circuits up to 60 amps?
When the raceway itself is a qualifying EGC, such as EMT, I do not use a wire EGC at all (unless outside).
Interesting. I feel that the raceway is more reliable.True, though IMO a wire EGC is more reliable. IMO
