I,m looking at a propane gas farm [8 -1000 gallon underground tanks] with a 60 amp underground fed service for monitoring equipment and 1 convience 110 volt outlet.
This is an outdoor location protected by a chainlink fence. My question is this a hazordus location ? If so Which zone?"
also the gas farm feed a houseing development so there is no despensing station as in in 514.3b

Remote location a seperate building ,the line from the tanks changes to plastic and goes underground ,There is one shutoff valve on the line that serves all 8 tanks. the only other item in the fence is the 2 3" pvc pipes for the transformer

If all piping is underground and there are no aboveground relief vents to atmosphere for the tanks, the immediate location would be unclassified as you have described it so far.

The applicable general Standard is NFPA 58, Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code. I took a VERY brief look at it. The site designer should take a detailed look.
