Hello,
Can someone educate me as to what the number printed on the red Push to test button refers to on the GE GFCI THQL or THQB Circuit breakers?

Do you mean something like this?

I went down a rabbit whole trying to look this up. At first I thought maybe AIC rating, but that didn't fit. Then I found one with a #8 on it. Then I thought maybe it was some kind of product number identification or product generation identification. Not enough information to make the comparison.

I feel like that wire is flicking me off in the picture... it knows we don't know. 🤪

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:... Rock86, I came up with the same conclusions before starting this post. I finally broke down and emailed the powers that be. Will post resolution to mystery when discovered.

I don't know what it is for, but is probably insignificant to user and would be nice if they just didn't put it there.

Reminds me of how Square D put a big 10 and a small kA on face of breakers, and when talking to customers on phone they think they have a 10 amp breaker. I can see someone also thinking that the one in post 2 is a 10 amp breaker as well.:(
