GE to FPE

In late 1970 early 80's I was involved with the FPE recall for circuit breakers, I believe at that time the recall was in regards to the AIC ratings not meeting levels published for the circuit breakers.

FPE put out a list of affected circuit breakers and the correct GE replacement circuit breakers that would meet UL standards. The GE circuit breakers came with adaptor plates to allow them to properly fit existing FPE panels.

I kept the FPE information regarding this recall for future reference, while the future is here and durn if I can find the information anywhere.

Is there anyone that may have this information they could share.

Wow. I would be really interested to see a picture of these adapter plates.

For some FPE panels they were just flat plates that allowed the mounting screw hols to be relocated to hold the GE Cb plates for the same reason.
