GEC for 350kcmil, 120/240V service installation, if run to the ground rod, shall be no smaller than ?

Table 250.66 says 1/0 I always use this table.

250.66 (A) "Connections to the Rod "that portion of the conductor that is the sole connection to the grounding electrode shall be not required to be larger than 6 AWG copper wire"

Somebody clarify please.

Maximum size required for a ground rod is #6 awg coper based on 250.66 A

#6 is all that you'll need for the ground rod(s) even for a 4000 amp service.

thanks !!!

So I don't need to use table 250.66 GEC for the Rod connection ! I'll be damned ! I've used that table half my life !

All other connections, water piping system, or building steel etc. would follow the table. 250.66

No, read 250.66 (A), (B), and (C)
