GEC entering panel

Now some will say you need a kenny clamp that fits that 1/4" hole:D

Correct, if you had more then two voltage systems you can't identify grounded conductors with color alone as white and gray are only two colors you can use for grounded conductors.

Suitable identification can be stripes on the conductor, marking tape, tags, or other labeling methods, even factory printed identification if you custom order or get specialty cables instead of general purpose cables.

Actually not all those methods are acceptable for grounded conductors.

Identification of grounded and ungrounded conductors differ.
 
You know guys, it was yesterday or a couple of days ago when I said "macmike has spoken" about this gec hole issue. It irritates me to no end that the thread wasn't closed for being solved right there and then...........
 
Lightning induced line surges are not identical to direct lightning strikes, although they are often directly associated.

Are we headed for the longest thread ever in this Forum :? I'm glad I dropped out a long time ago. The minutiae started getting way over my head. Can you imagine if we were all sitting at a bar drinking and talking about this ? After about the 4th round we'd all be either agreeing or a bar fight would break out.

guessing this one is the longest. I haven't been following and don't plan to start at the beginning and read all the way through any time soon.
 
Once again we have proven that we can argue about just about anything for an absurd amount of time. :D
