GEC tap connections

I have 2 service disconnects that I will be running GEC tap conductors from.

Do the connections to the GEC need to be irreversible or can it be a split bolt ?

If so, are there split bolts that are specifically listed for grounding?

The GEC if spliced must be irreversible, tap conductors to the GEC are considered bonding jumpers and their connection to the GEC can be with a split bolt. I believe that all split bolt connectors are listing for bonding and grounding.

I had to look around a little if memory serves when looking for grounding/bonding rated split bolts. We use a lot of them for equipotential planes in dairy barns. If memory serves, the Ilsco IK-6 or Burndy KS-17 series are a couple of ones we use a lot. The part number prefixes should get you in the ballpark for what you're looking for.

We typically use C-taps for GEC connections though.
