Is table 250-122 right for the grounding to the water meter from main disconnet? Which would be #6cu for 200a?

Thank you very muchNo, you use table 250.66 for sizing grounding electrode conductors.

It's on the "street side". It is a being used as a grounding electrode. Is there a requirement to bond the water meter ????
even with PVC piping ?
As I jest, I also jump on my soap box and say that don't understand why a metal water pipe which is not a grounding electrode must be bonded per 250.66 where "other metal piping" does not carry such requirement.

If the water main is plastic coming in from the street or well it does not meet the requirements of 250.52 A 1, so 250. 66 would not apply. In my area ( se Mass ) all local insp. except one use 250. 122 for this situation.
agree BUT 250.104(A) uses 250.66 also
