Generac Two Wire Start Kit

Does anyone know what the part number is for the little D sub pins that are included in Generac 7109 two wire start kits? We use them all the time for two wire start controllers, and I'm getting tired of paying $35 a piece when I just need two pins and some #18 stranded each time...

Not knowing offhand what connector you tie into for 2 wire start, I would guess you would use the same pins as used in the controllers Aux port which uses these pins;

It is Molex Mini Fit Jr. IIRC. You need a fine open barrel crimper for them.

However what I do is buy the removal tool for these connectors. In the generator, remove the red and white wires that are 23 and 194 and re-land them in the 2 wire start cavities. Since they are not used in a generator that has 2 wire start anyway, the wires are already there and already run to Wago ports. Relabel the Wago ports. Done and done.

I believe the Aux port are Mini also.. so the pins I posted would work.

Edit: The only removal tool for the mini I could find was very expensive. Pins are cheaper

I have made my own removal tool in cases like this. Or take an existing tool and play around with it. Just need to unlock the locking pins at the rear of the plug to pull the wire/pin out. Sometimes a needle will work. Like using padlock lock pics. But to crimp the new pin on the wire is another story!

If you are used to doing this kind of work, crimping new pins on should be no big deal. It is an open barrel style connector very common everywhere. Everybody should have this style tooling if they are into this kind of work.
