I will do that.
I find it interesting that we tend to relate to information differently depending on its origin. How might we benefit ourselves and others if we would take the information that we receive at face value instead of changing it's value on the basis of its origin. When we do that there is strong potential to accept as right something that is wrong because it came from the right source and likewise completely miss something right and innovative because it came from the wrong source.

Its a formal fallacy called “Argument from authority”
Its when you claim something is true simply because an authority figure, either an expert, a person you admire, even a dumb boss that has no clue what he is doing but is in an authority position, said it was true, without any other supporting evidence offered. (such as article numbers in the NEC)

Its the reason I asked in my post if it was illegal rather than immediately assumed and/or said it was.😁

It led to more questions about the install to get the answer.
