Looking at options for a fire pump station (1500 gpm electric fire, 1500 gpm diesel fire pump, 10 hp, 30 hp domestic pumps).
Normally the 10 hp or 30 hp domestic pumps supply water to an industrial park.
In a power outage the diesel fire pump runs, this diesel takes a lot of maintenance.
My suggestion was a small generator and ATS for the two domestic pumps, for an outage that would maintain water pressure, and keep the diesel from running.
An option suggested was a large emergency generator and ATS to run the electrical fire pump. Because this generator and ATS would be painted red, it would be very very expensive....my guess would be $250,000.
Any estimates from forum users on the cost for a emergency generator and ATS for the 100 hp fire pump?
