Generator auto transfer needs to operate reverse

I have a Generac automatic transfer switch that needs to operate reverse of its purpose. I have street power connected to where the generator is supposed to be connected. I have the generator connected to where the street power is supposed to be connected.
So the normal state of the transfer switch is to be in backup mode (down), then when the generator transfers power the switch changes to street mode(up). There is no generator connected to this transfer switch.
this transfer switch is used to control the pool panel and pumps which act as a radiator for a micro turbine generator.
if I were to change the wire positions on the digital controller to connect to the opposite magnetic relays?

Unless you have some odd generac transfer switch, the transfer functions are controlled by the controller In the generac generator itself. Since you don’t have that......

Not all are controlled by the generator. The GTS series is a smart switch. It tells the generator to start, dose all of the switching and goes thru the shutdown procedure including the generator.

We're all wondering exactly what you are trying to do here. If there is no generator connected to the Xfer switch how does the switch know when to reverse position ? Need more info.:(

Are you trying to say that the cooling of a particular generator uses the pool as a place to dump excess heat?

If so is the pool pumps powered by said generator? Is the water pumped through generator cooling system at all times or is there valves that divert it as needed?

A transfer switch may not even be a necessity depending on some of your conditions, just additional lines of logic in the control system may be all that is necessary.
