Regardless of what is inside the unit we as professionals still have to follow the NEC don't you think?

The cables being discussed are the "hook up cables" between the load side of the generator output breaker and premise wiring of the building that requires temporary power; not the internal, factory wiring of the mobile, or portable generator.
