I imagine that they at least use a less viscous formulation of fuel in winter. See "arctic diesel" at this wiki page.

Using winter blends can be problematic for semi trucks. It may be -10 here in Michigan when they pick up their loads, but 1000 miles from here it can be 70 degrees or better. They hold about 300 gallons of fuel and get 8 mpg loaded, so the range of temperatures a OTR semi truck experiences can vary wildly. Thats one reason why my friend finds himself working on air conditioners when it's freezing cold outside here in Michigan.

First time poster with a sketchy question and link in his post, sounds like he won't be back.

Then why is this thread still going on? I've seen many threads that got shut down quick just because someone's post didn't suit the mods. and I thought it was a legit question. Didn't matter, It was closed.
This thread made no sense from the beginning.

I think you are correct. Dennis removed her link, I think it was a ploy to drive views to a website.

Yes

It's becoming more common with people in China who I think get some sort of Government benefit by showing activity on a website. So they post things as "questions" in forums, directing people to look at their site, ratcheting up the view counter. It's irrelevant to them as to WHY people are clicking on the links, so even posting potentially negative issues works for them, as long as someone clicks on it. But I think the ostensibly negative issues are an attempt to get away with it by making it not appear to be an advertisement. "She" posted it and after Dennis removed the link, she apparently visited one more time, saw that had happened and never came back.

I'm going to go ahead and close this, I think we are done here.
