Generator off grid pulsating electric lights

I have just purchased an older Kohler 8500 rmy generator.
Just hooked up to our system, sounds great, currents read good, but lights are flickering.
Any suggestions?

I am sorry that you are experiencing problems but this is not the forum to address DIY issues. Contact a licensed EC is the best we can offer.
