I have a mobile searchlight trailer powered by a MQ45 generator. The searchlight and generator are integral to the trailer. The only power connections are directly to the searchlight on the trailer; no leads leave the trailer for connections elsewhere. Do I need to ground the generator with a ground rod? I have read through NEC article 250 but I could not find an answer specific to this situation. Any help would be appreciated!
