Doing a 200 amp free standing underground service conversion from overhead with addition of a whole house generator and ATS. my local power company wants me to do it free standing and we are very limited as to where we can put all of this. the best spot i have found is right next to a tool shed the home owner does not want to get rid of if we dont have to. thinking the meter/main will be mounted on the on the right side, the automatic transfer switch will go to the left of the meter main. and wanting to put the generator about 2 to 2.5 feet behind them both and all on the same concrete pad. i think this will look the cleanest and i dont have a ton of options. my main question is the generator clearance of the window, it is a tool shed not a liveable space so do you see any violations with that. my meter/transfer switch will obviously have workspace requirements per article 110.26. the only issues i see with the gen placement would be this window. and we can frame it in and get rid of it if need be. just like getting peoples opinions on here. thanks, and excuse my horrible drawings/photoshop lol. if anyones got a better idea let me know!
