Georgia Electrical Contractors (Background Check)

Does anyone know if the background check for the Georgia Electrical Contractors License must be local, state or federal..? I can't seem to find anything on it. The application says simply to go to you local law enforcement office, but they only issue local searches....not national. Anyone with information, it would be greatly appreicated... I am coming from out of State under reciprocity, so do I need a check from my home state or Georgia..?

I am not sure, but my best bet would be state, and you should be good.
