Is FMC a legal installation in a damp location (covered parking garage). Looking at using for expansion joint installation. 348.12 (1) states can't be used in wet location.

The only location prohibition (damp or wet) is as you've stated in wet locations.

Seems like at one time you could, provided it was installed to allow drainage, and the wiring inside was suitable for wet location? It would have been several code cycles back........if I remember correctly? 80's?

Some of the garages I work in are a wet area. The ceiling has water dripping. Why not use Sealtite?
