First, hello to all. This is my first post as I just found this forum which looks very helpful. I'm an older guy who grew up around the trades, my father and brother were both licensed electricians and I have done it most of my life as a DIY'er. I always had one of them for questions like this but unfortunately they are both gone now.

I'm installing a mini split ac. The unit I'm placing calls for 25 amp max fusing. This will go to an outdoor disconnect that I plan on placing using a 30 amp switch (pull out type). I will be placing a 25 amp breaker inside (main house panel) to feed this for overload protection and use 10 gauge cable. Does this installation require a GFCI breaker? I see 20 and 30 amp GFCI's all the time but never a 25 amp, although I never really had the need to use one before. I would appreciate any help with this as far as making sure the breaker and wire are properly sized and meet code. Again this circuit will just be feeding the outdoor disconnect for the new a/c mini split system. Thanks for any help and or suggestions.

Bill
