If you have GFCI and/or GFEP circuits in raceways with power circuits, are the GFCI/GFEP circuits susceptible to nuisance tripping due to electromagnetic interference from the power supply circuits?

NO. Try wiring your equipment correctly

"Electromagnetic interference". Hmmmm.

I can think of a couple possibilities. . .
  1. High speed transients on the power circuit will couple inductively and capacitively, to some extent. The electronics of the GF detection equipment can only tolerate so much before "green goo" is created where there was once a working semiconductor.
  2. The longer the run of protected conductors from the GF detection equipment, the more capacitive and inductive coupling will occur some of which will be unbalanced current that will eat into the 5 or 30 milliamp threshold trip current.

I'm not sure. What kind of power circuits? Al has some good points. GFCI would be more sensitive than GFEP since it's 5 mA vs. 30 mA.

I think both devices have a distance limit for running protected wiring. Maybe that's why.
