GFCI on a 208vac lab hood twist lock outltlet

does anyone no where I can find a section in the code that requires or does not require a gfci protected circuit breaker on an outlet that will supply power to agitators,heaters etc inside a lab hood?
208 vac
30 amp single phase

also 208 vac
20 amp 3-phase:wink:

210.8(B). Your facility is not a dwelling unit. Your receptacles are not 125 volt rated. Therefore, they are not required to have GFCI. It is up to the owner, as perhaps represented by the engineer or the contractor, to decide whether it is a good idea to do it anyway.
 
I wonder if this hood has a fire-suppression system, and whether shut-down of power under the hood is required.
