I was told that their must be at least two GFCI pleaced in each accessory building. Is this true. The 2008 code article 210.08(A)(2) states that their shall be GFCI in a accessory building but it doesnt say how many.
Actually none are necessary in detached buildings, however if there is power than only one is required in addition to any recep. that is there for specific equipment. Thus if there were a refrig. in place then I believe you would need to add another. i am still in 05, i guess i better rewire my shop before 08 comes in. my cranky 20 year fridge doesnt like gfci protection. probably because of all the hack work done on it by the owner!![]()
