GFI and nuisance tripping

Hi,

My senior engineer warned me to not use any GFCI-rated breaker for a branch circuit running for 900' because of the nuisance tripping.

I can't rate the receptacle to be GFCI (special purpose/manuf. furnished) so I'm left with rating the breaker to be GFCI.

what methods I can use to eliminate/reduce the effect of nuisance tripping because of this distance?

Thank you

Add a GFCI device (deadfront, breaker, or something else) directly ahead of your receptacle at the utilization equipment. I would be nervous about nuisance tripping with a GFCI device ahead of a 200' circuit.
