Gfi plugmold just has no wire bending volume

I have never heard anyone at the supply company order a gfci breaker. They always ask for a gfi-- either breaker or receptacle.

Yes, people do incorrectly reference it as you have...lol (just messin with you Dennis).

I am comfortable in my skin-- I can take it. The world is lazy so that's why we incompetent electricians say gfi instead of gfci-- that "C" takes too long to say. Just think of how much time I save everyday because I don't add that extra letter. I save all that time so I can have time to post here at the forum and argue stupid stuff like this. :D

Well my skin is thin..you hurt my feelings all the time fella...(not really) but heck I have been posting stupid stuff all day...time I can never get back now...that sucks..;(

Oh I wasn't thinking about that. I was just referring to the gfi statement. :D

Of course the GF part of the acronym is a misnomer anyway. The "Ground" has nothing to do with their proper operation since they trip on current difference. This causes confusion with lots of people who believe the the grounding wire is required, when in fact it is required only to get the plug in tester to work.

Hmm, they will not work on ungrounded systems.

The 'ground' has everything to do with it, 99% of GFCI trips the current difference is caused by current flow to earth or ground.

You could not detect a current imbalance without the systems connection to ground.

That said I do agree with this.
